Qualification: Graduate / Diploma / B.E. (Mechanical / Electrical / Supply Chain preferred)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Purchase Executive with experience in the pump manufacturing or engineering industry. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing raw materials, pump components, and electrical items, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely procurement for smooth production operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Handle procurement of raw materials, pump parts, electrical components, and engineering items.
2. Prepare and process Purchase Orders (PO) based on production requirements.
3. Identify and develop new vendors and suppliers.
4. Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
5. Coordinate with production, store, and quality departments for material requirements.
6. Monitor material delivery schedules to avoid production delays.
7. Maintain purchase records, vendor details, and procurement documentation.
8. Evaluate supplier performance in terms of quality, price, and delivery.
9. Ensure compliance with company purchase policies and ISO documentation.

Required Skills

1. Knowledge of procurement and vendor management.
2. Understanding of pump components, castings, motors, and electrical items.
3. Experience with ERP / purchase management software.
4. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
5. Good documentation and coordination ability.

Preferred Experience

1. Experience in pump manufacturing / engineering company procurement.
2. Familiarity with ISO documentation and quality standards.

Salary

As per company standards / Negotiable based on experience.
