Quality Control (QC) Checker
Job Summary: The Quality Control (QC) Checker is responsible for ensuring that all pump products meet the company’s quality standards and specifications before they are shipped to customers. This role involves inspecting and testing pump components and finished products, identifying defects, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspection and Testing:
- Perform visual inspections of pump components and finished products to identify defects or deviations from specifications.
- Conduct functional and performance tests on pumps to ensure they operate correctly and efficiently.
- Utilize measurement tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, gauges) to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspection results, test outcomes, and any identified issues.
- Prepare and submit quality reports and documentation for review by management.
- Defect Identification and Resolution:
- Identify and document defects, non-conformities, and potential quality issues.
- Work with production and engineering teams to address and resolve quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
- Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure all products and processes comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality policies.
- Stay updated on changes to quality standards and regulations affecting the pump industry.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements to increase product quality and efficiency.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for improvements in quality control procedures and practices.
- Training and Support:
- Assist in training new QC staff and provide guidance on quality control procedures and standards.
- Support other departments in understanding and implementing quality requirements.
