Job Description (JD) – Junior HR Executive
Department: Human Resources
Designation: Junior HR Executive
Location: Manufacturing Plant
Reports To: HR Manager
Job Summary
The Junior HR Executive will support daily HR operations by managing employee attendance, coordinating recruitment activities, handling production workforce requirements, monitoring marketing team attendance, conducting regular plant visits, and ensuring compliance with company HR policies.
Key Responsibilities
Attendance Management
- Maintain daily attendance records for office staff, marketing team, and production employees.
- Monitor biometric attendance, leave, overtime, and shift schedules.
- Follow up on attendance discrepancies and late coming.
- Prepare daily and monthly attendance/MIS reports.
Marketing Team Coordination
- Monitor and verify daily attendance of the marketing team.
- Track field staff movement and tour reports.
- Coordinate with reporting managers for attendance and leave approvals.
- Maintain accurate attendance and performance records.
Production Department Handling
- Coordinate with Production Heads regarding daily manpower requirements.
- Monitor shop-floor attendance and shift deployment.
- Ensure proper HR support for production employees.
- Handle workforce-related issues and maintain discipline on the shop floor.
Recruitment & Hiring
- Source candidates through job portals, social media, and employee references.
- Screen resumes and schedule interviews.
- Coordinate interviews with department heads.
- Conduct joining formalities and induction of new employees.
- Maintain recruitment trackers and candidate databases.
Plant Visits
- Conduct regular plant rounds to monitor employee attendance and discipline.
- Ensure compliance with company rules, safety guidelines, and HR policies.
- Address employee concerns and coordinate with supervisors.
- Support employee engagement and maintain a positive work environment.
Employee Documentation
- Maintain employee personal files and HR records.
- Collect and verify joining documents.
- Update employee master data and maintain HRMIS records.
- Handle confirmation, transfer, and separation documentation.
HR Administration
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HR reports.
- Assist in employee engagement activities and welfare programs.
- Coordinate issuance of ID cards, uniforms, and PPE.
- Support statutory compliance and HR audits.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of attendance management and HR documentation.
- Basic understanding of labor laws and manufacturing HR practices.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and HRMS software.
- Good coordination, follow-up, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree (BBA/B.Com/BA) or MBA/PGDM in Human Resources.
Experience
- 0–2 years of experience in HR, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
- Freshers with strong communication and coordination skills may also apply.

- Accurate and timely attendance management.
- Timely closure of manpower requirements.
- Successful recruitment within defined timelines.
- Proper coordination with Marketing and Production departments.
- Regular plant visits and timely issue resolution.
- Complete and accurate employee documentation.
- Compliance with company HR policies and procedures.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in a manufacturing or pump industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with biometric attendance systems and HRMS.
- Willingness to spend time on the shop floor and interact with employees.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple HR activities simultaneously.
