Export Sales Manager (Pump Industry)
Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India
Markets: Gulf & Africa
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Gulf and African markets for pumps and related products.
- Sales & Revenue Growth: Achieve export sales targets through strategic marketing and sales planning.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, agents, and key clients in the target regions.
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market analysis to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies, pricing structures, and promotional activities to increase market share.
- International Business Development: Travel to the Gulf & African countries for business meetings, trade shows, and client interactions.
- Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead negotiations, prepare proposals, and finalize contracts with customers and distributors.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all export activities comply with international trade regulations and documentation requirements.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Coordinate with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Key Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related) or Business Administration. MBA preferred.
- Experience: 5-10 years of experience in export sales, preferably in the pump industry or related industrial equipment.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of industrial pumps, water management solutions, and international sales practices.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of Arabic or French is an advantage.
- Technical & Soft Skills:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and develop strategic partnerships.
- Familiarity with export documentation, Incoterms, and trade regulations.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office.
- Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel extensively to the Gulf and African regions for business development.
