Job Title: Cylindrical Grinding Operator

Department: Production (Pump Manufacturing)

Location: Plot No.16, Phase 1/2, GIDC Estate Naroda Ahmedabad

Job Summary:

We are hiring a Cylindrical Grinding Operator for pump manufacturing, responsible for precision grinding of pump components such as shafts, sleeves, and rotors as per technical drawings and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate cylindrical grinding machines for pump parts.
2. Perform grinding of shafts, impellers, sleeves, and motor components.
3. Maintain required tolerances, concentricity, and surface finish.
4. Read and understand engineering drawings and process sheets.
5. Use measuring instruments like micrometer, vernier caliper, dial gauge.
6. Ensure quality as per ISO / industry standards.
7. Conduct machine setup, dressing of grinding wheels, and basic maintenance.
8. Follow 5S and safety practices on the shop floor.

Skills & Requirements:

1. ITI (Fitter/Turner/Machinist) or Diploma in Mechanical.
2. 2–6 years of experience in grinding (pump or engineering industry preferred).
3. Good knowledge of tolerances, fits, and surface finish.
4. Ability to handle precision components.

Preferred:

1. Experience in pump manufacturing industry.
2. Knowledge of CNC grinding (added advantage).
3. Familiarity with ISO standards & quality systems.

Working Conditions:

1. Manufacturing / shop floor environment
2. Shift duty (if applicable)
