Job Summary

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, maintaining customer relationships, and increasing company sales. The candidate will work closely with customers, dealers, industrial clients, and internal departments to achieve business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Identify and develop new business opportunities in target markets.
  2. Generate leads through field visits, cold calling, email, online portals, and references.
  3. Meet customers, dealers, contractors, and industrial clients for business development.
  4. Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and product presentations.
  5. Follow up with customers for inquiries, orders, payments, and feedback.
  6. Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and develop new clients.
  7. Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
  8. Coordinate with production, dispatch, and accounts departments for order execution.
  9. Maintain daily visit reports, sales reports, and customer database.
  10. Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets.
  11. Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs, and business meetings.
  12. Travel as required for customer visits and market development.

Required Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or related field.
  2. MBA in Marketing will be preferred.
  3. 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing.
  4. Experience in pump industry, manufacturing industry, or industrial products preferred.

Required Skills

  1. Good communication and negotiation skills.
  2. Strong convincing and presentation ability.
  3. Knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and email communication.
  4. Ability to handle customer inquiries and prepare quotations.
  5. Good knowledge of market trends and customer handling.
  6. Self-motivated and target-oriented.
  7. Ability to travel and work under pressure.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  1. Male/Female candidate with strong interpersonal skills.
  2. Candidate should have own vehicle and valid driving license.
  3. Knowledge of English, Hindi, and Gujarati preferred.
  4. Candidate should be willing to travel within Gujarat and other states.

Salary

As per company standards and candidate experience.

Working Hours

9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
